Throughout this Standard the following
definitions shall apply.

در اﻳﻦ اﺳﺘﺎﻧﺪاردﺗﻌﺎرﻳﻒ زﻳﺮﺑﻪ ﻛﺎر ﻣﻲ رود.
Company :
Refers to one of the related and/or
affiliated
companies of the Iranian Ministry of
Petroleum
such as National Iranian Oil Company,
National
Iranian Gas Company, and National
Petrochemical Company etc.
ﺷﺮﻛﺖ :
ﺑﻪ ﺷﺮﻛﺖ ﻫﺎي اﺻﻠﻲ و واﺑﺴﺘﻪ وزارت ﻧﻔﺖ ﻣﺜﻞ ﺷﺮﻛﺖ ﻣﻠﻲ
ﻧﻔﺖ اﻳﺮان ، ﺷﺮﻛﺖ ﻣﻠﻲ ﮔﺎز اﻳﺮان، ﺷﺮﻛﺖ ﻣﻠﻲ ﺻﻨﺎﻳﻊ

Executor :
Executor is the party which carries out all

ﻛﺎرﻫﺎي اﺟﺮاﻳﻲ و ﻳﺎ راه اﻧﺪازي ﭘﺮوژه را اﻧﺠﺎمدﻫﺪ.
Inspector :
The Inspector referred to in this Standard is
a
person/persons or a body appointed in writing
by
the company for the inspection of fabrication
and
installation work

Cavitation
Cavitation is a particular kind of
erosioncorrosion caused by the formation and collapse of
vapor bubbles in a liquid contacting a metal
surface. The resultant shock forces reach
high
levels in local areas and can tear out jagged
chunks of brittle materials or deform soft
metals.
Where the environment is corrosive, severity
of
cavitation damage increases.
